'Beautifully written with characters to love, hate and pity. Twists and turns and so much to keep you reading until the end. Definitely one to put on your reading list! Trust me, get this book and settle in for a brilliant read.'

'OMG! A fast paced, drama filled pirate tale and so much more! Beautifully written with engaging and interesting characters. The storyline is unique and intriguing with many twists and turns. Filled with tragedy, deceit, betrayal, danger, Lords, Ladies, secrets, treachery, passion, thievery, romance, revenge, and finding true love, learning forgiveness and healing. I loved the H/H, how they learned to let go of a past that was devastating, tragic and deliberately orchestrated. From tragedy comes love. Well done. I read this in one setting. There was so many surprises. Fans of Historical Romance, pirates, and an epic romance, will enjoy “The Pirate Lord”.'

The Pirate Lord is a delight with its feisty heroine and a hero to die for. The story moves at a super pace, and I loved the gorgeous settings. There’s grand houses, a pirate ship and a Caribbean island...all beautifully described. The passionate love between Eloise and Zach feels real and moving. I adored this story. You will too. Now I can't wait for Vanda's next book. Hope it's soon.

If you're looking for a fast-paced historical involving a feisty heroine, a sexy pirate with a hidden agenda -- liberally laced with intrigue and some steamy sex -- this one's for you.

Vanda Vadas ticks all the boxes in her first novel. I look forward to the next book(s) from this talented author.

What a wonderful story! I was totally immersed in this and felt like I was back in those days, with the pirate ship and all the rest so well described. Great characters, too. Hope it won't be too long before Ms Vadas writes another tale of yesteryear.

I do love a good book with pirates in it....not to mention drama.
So much drama, it was fast paced and I couldn't stop turning the pages. Definitely one for the re-read pile as well!
The characters where well written, interesting and helped to draw you in to the story. I mean for a romance, they where surprisingly fleshed out.
The plot was full of intrigue and twists and turns that kept me guessing the entire way through, constantly being surprised.
The romance was just perfect. I can't even. It gave me the warm and fuzzies and I read this in one sitting because I just couldn't put it down. The romance, the history, the drama, the betrayal, devious villains...this book has everything that you need to keep you completely absorbed in the book.
