"I very much enjoyed reading The Scoundrel Scot. I could not put the book down. Vanda Vadas was brilliant in her descriptions of the characters, the clan’s traditions, their emotions, the landscape of the highlands, and describing the interior decor and exterior of the castle. I thoroughly recommend reading this book."

"Thoroughly engaging romantic story of love and loss. Filled with great characterisation, richly detailed descriptions of life in the Scottish Highlands in 1743 and twists and turns you don't see coming."

"Even though this is not my usual go to, I ventured into Helene and Lachlan's world, to find well written characters, who's story kept me coming back for each turn and twist in their relationship. Can't wait to see what this great writer comes up with next."

Readers’ Favorite Five Star Book Review
"Author Vanda Vadas' wonderfully entertaining, historical romance, The Scoundrel Scot, had me falling in love with Lachlan. He was broody, charismatic, and the perfect protagonist to make me read on until the end. Helene was his opposite yet perfect for him. She had the fire and the desire to make Lachlan fall in love with her. The plot was fun, and the conflict was exciting. I loved how their chemistry developed over time, and they fell hard for each other at just the right moment. I also loved that the author didn’t undermine their emotional journeys and development. We saw Lachlan open his heart to love, and Helene stop fighting so hard, yet remaining true to herself. The pace was perfect, the narrative style was amazing, the setting reflected the 1700s, and the descriptions of Scottish society were fascinating. I cannot wait to see what the author has in store for us in the next book!"
